site for those who remember and those who are just discovering

great shows from radio's golden age. This site was
originally established
in 1998 to share Old Time Radio in the (then) new and exciting MP3
format.
In the years that have passed since then, OTR in MP3 has become
ubiquitous
on the web. Today, you can download all of the programs which
first found their way to the web via The Gildersleeve Project for free
by simply visiting Archive.org and doing a search for the Great
Gildersleeve.
Beginning in March of 2010,
Wayback.net is proud to present re-creations of some of the Great
Gildersleeve programs for which the original recordings are not
available. These modern productions are the work of the
Lexington, Kentucky chapter of American Radio Theater. We hope
you enjoy them.
